2008 NC State Science Fair Abstract Form

Students may use either this form or the ISEF Abstract Form located at http://www.sciserv.org/isef/students/forms_dates.asp. After finishing research and experimentation, students should write a 250 word (maximum length), one-page abstract. An abstract should include a few sentences on (a) the purpose of the experiment, (b) the procedures used, (c) the data collected, and (d) conclusions. It also may include any possible research applications. Only minimal reference to previous work may be included. The abstract must focus on work done during the past year (since last year’s fair) and should not include: a) acknowledgments, or b) work or procedures done by the mentor.
